The Super Wicki and SFX are running a competition to design a magazine cover for hunters. This sounds really cool. The deadline is March 14th though and I just don't know if I'll have the time.

There's things like stock image copyrights to consider and do they want just an image or are we supposed to make up articles for teasers too? I have way too many questions like these to really seriously consider entering.

But even if I don't enter I think I might try my hand at making something anyway and just post it here. It could be fun.

deanlims. Apparently people don't have my same sense of humor.

I just saw that pic and couldn't get the image of Dean stubbing his toe out of my head. Yeah ok, the prompt was tears and everyone went all moody with it. But I needed a lighthearted spin. And I get it, he was talking about his time in Hell, but you don't have to know that. Sure, Dean doesn't say "Fuck" on the show, (except for being bleeped in Ghostfacers) but that just looked like the word his mouth would most easily form. Come on, you know you agree with me.

CRAP. Nope it's not the vid, it's me. I think my computer updated again without my permission and changed...things, I don't know, but I can't do the embedding like I did before.

It's probably for the best, that would be three days in a row I wasted space with YouTube.

On the writing front, I've been spending most of the time I set aside to write looking for word progress bars and still can't find one that I like. You think there would be more than 3 choices. I would use the NaNo ones, but they have my pen name on it, and I just don't like the way that looks. Maybe if I play around with the coding I can figure out how to get rid of it.

If you have any suggestions I would really appreciate it.

Enough babbling, time to get some actual work done.

Yeah, this everyday thing really leaves me with a lot of pointless posts.

I did it. I lasted a full week with NaBloPoMo. I wish I was this successful with NaNoWriMo, but I'm not too far behind that I can't catch up. I really didn't think I would make it this far with the everyday thing. It gives me hope that I might be able to go all the way.

I don't even care that I have absolutely nothing interesting to say. But now that I figured out how to do that video embedding thing, I can let the Winchesters give you some good advice.

It has an awesome catchy tune and the vidder did an great job using a scene from every episode up to 4x14.

And because I can; have some Jensen voice from yesterday.

They really are cute together.

An early post today because I might not be around tonight, and I need to get some writing done, so of course I'm going to procrastinate with posting.

Ok. I did it. Even though I convinced myself yesterday that I wouldn't. I signed up for

deanlims. Hopefully I'll get knocked out in the first couple of rounds so I don't have to actually get creative or anything drastic like that. I just liked the icon that I made too much not to put it to good use.

I'm still upset that I can't rotate icons like I want, but I'm sure I'll get over it. Just as soon as I find something better to complain about. I don't even know what to use for this post because I know most of the icons that I have now I'll be changing and the others don't apply. Not even a little. So what I need to do is get a good default that I absolutely love and just use that for everything. Then maybe I'll at least be content. So for now, have an angry Dean.

So apparently if I post using an icon and then delete said icon to make room for a different one (no paid account), it replaces the posted icon with the default.  I don't know why I thought that it would just stay, but I assumed it wouldn't change once posted. I was wrong.

It probably shouldn't have taken me this long to figure out, but I'm slow when it comes to the interworkings of the interwebs.

Well that just sucks. I was about to challenge myself to another absurd waste of time this month and use a different icon for each post. But now it's just pointless if they will just change anyway. Why can't I have more than 15 userpics??

I was contemplating signing up for deanlims (and by contemplating I mean had already made an icon for the first challenge) but it just seems worthless now. I wouldn't even be able to use the icons I would make. Besides I need more of Sam anyway-- get a good balance going. Maybe if it was a challenge for both and not just Dean I would do it.

Now I have to go trim up my userpics, get everything tight and assigned. I'm going to put those 15 to good use. No more wasted space... or something like that.

Crap this is going to be imposable. I change my mind every 15 seconds.
